Last Saturday, Kitty got to hang out with his grandma, Kukhu. They played together, fed together, crawled together, laughed together, chased after each other and did all those other things kids do with their grandparents.
See how he’s comfortably reading a magazine with his crossed feet? I think he’ll be a reader, maybe a journalist like me:)
Now, seeing them hanging out together and bonding reminded me of this verse in the Bible that says: ‘…May you live to see your children’s children’ (Psalms 128:6).
I’ve been observing how Kitty’s Kukhu and Cucu spend time with him, and that verse has been developing a whole new meaning; a more practical meaning. The essence of that verse has been unfolding right before my eyes. These grandma’s both adore Kitty. They love him to bits.
Which has got me thinking and concluding – in one’s sunset years, I guess the greatest joy is hanging out with your grandkids? Judging by just how these my two moms fuss around Kitty and his cousins is testament enough.
I pray that I too will live to see Kitty’s children. And just incase you missed it, here is a post on Cucu hanging out with Kitty.
