Now, I always feel encouraged whenever I see women/moms begin initiatives based on their own experiences; initiatives aimed at helping fellow women and moms deal with certain issues pertaining to being a woman; being a mom.
One such example is Samoina Wangui who has started support group therapy sessions for women who have suffered postpartum depression. Read about that here.
I’ve also previously told you the story of Wanjiru Kihusa of Still a Mum. Still a Mum offers support for parents have gone through miscarriages, stillbirth and infant loss.
